Terms & Conditions Last updated: 9 July 2026
These terms apply when you browse or purchase from the Mu Bijoux website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. Products and handmade variation We make every reasonable effort to describe and photograph each item accurately. Murano glass jewellery is individually made, so small variations in colour, pattern, shape and placement are part of its character and are not faults. Screen settings can also affect how colours appear.
Prices, availability and orders Prices are shown in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are displayed at checkout. Products may be withdrawn or updated without notice. An order is accepted once payment has been successfully processed and we confirm that the item is available. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund. Payment and security Payment is processed through the payment methods offered at checkout. Mu Bijoux does not ask customers to send card details by email.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch available items promptly. Delivery estimates are guides rather than guarantees and may be affected by carriers, public holidays, remote destinations or events outside our reasonable control. Please check your delivery details before submitting an order. See our Shipping & Delivery page for current information. Returns, faulty items and consumer guarantees Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If an item is faulty, unsafe, significantly different from its description, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or another remedy depending on the circumstances. We may ask for photographs and reasonable proof of purchase so we can assess the issue. Please contact us as soon as practical after discovering a problem. A short notification period does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
For change-of-mind requests, contact us before returning anything. Any approved change-of-mind return must be unused, unworn and in its original condition and packaging. Original delivery charges are not refundable for change-of-mind returns, and the customer is responsible for return delivery. We will issue a store coupon for approved change of mind requests.
For hygiene and safety reasons, opened or worn body jewellery and earrings for pierced ears cannot be accepted for change of mind. These conditions do not apply where an item fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
Do not send a return until we have provided return instructions. We recommend tracked packaging, as responsibility for a change-of-mind return remains with the sender until received. Damaged or missing deliveries If a parcel arrives damaged, please keep the packaging and contact us promptly with photographs of the parcel and item. If tracking shows an unexpected delay or delivery issue, contact us so we can investigate with the carrier. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
Care and safe use Glass jewellery should be handled with care and protected from impact, crushing and sudden temperature changes. Customers are responsible for choosing products appropriate for their intended use and following any care or safety information supplied. Body jewellery should be used only in healed piercings unless a suitably qualified piercer advises otherwise.
